ONLF Fighters and Ethiopian Security Forces engage in Skirmish in Ogaden Region

Rebels in occupied Ogaden and Ethiopian Security Forces clash near Degahbur town of Ogaden region. The fighting has recent escalated following the killing of ONLF Commander near Sagag.

Fighters from Independent Movement, Ogaden National Liberation Army or ONLA and Ethiopian Paramilitary Force known as Liyuu police or Special Force have engaged in skirmish around Ogaden Village of Las-Galol, about 160 Kilometres South-East of the city of Harar, Qorahay Media reports.

The skirmish took place after Liyuu Police chased away women and children from water wells near the village of Las-galol and Ogaden National Army (ONLA) received the news from its informants. Read more…

We have also reported on the links between villagization and the various iterations of the World Bank’s Promoting/ Protection of Basic Services projects. #StopAbayTsehaye – Abay Tsehaye’s “ልክ አስገባናቸው!” Terror During #OromoProtests of April-May 2014 and the Mayu Muluqqee Massacre in Review

#StopAbayTsehaye – in the last two or three years, a special (“Liyu”) kind of terror was being carried out in Harerge (East Oromia), in areas such as Mayu Muluqqee and Chercher. The specially trained TPLF militia force in Ogaden (called the “Liyu”/”Special” Force or nicknamed as ‘Abay Tsehaye’s Liyu Force’) was terrorizing Oromos in East Oromia to take away their land. The TPLF agents used the “Liyu” Force from Ogaden to evict Oromo farmers to make it look like Somalis were invading Oromos in Oromia from the adjacent Federal State. Abay Tsehaye and his “investors” (i.e. Neftegnas) today have swaths of land for commercial farmings in the region.

#StopAbayTsehaye – According to Abay Tsehaye, the State of Oromia local police and administration failed to act swiftly to terrorize the Oromo population into submission (i.e. “Lik Masgebat” in Amharic) during the April-May 2014 #OromoProtests. Thus, Abay Tsehaye’s (TPLF’s) AGAZI Force came from Finfinne to Madaa Walaabuu (a University town), which fiercely protested against TPLF’s Addis Ababa Master Plan of evicting and dispossessing Oromo farmers, to “Lik Masgebat” the Oromo people. This elderly woman was shot in the feet by Abay Tsehaye’s AGAZI Force. Abay Tsehaye is the face of Tigrean chauvinism and Neftegna in Oromia. On the recently released audio, he has once again vowed to rain terror (i.e. genocide) on the Oromo people in order to implement the Addis Ababa Master Plan, which is already a design where Oromo land is rationed out (sometimes through lotteries) to Tigrean Neftegna (who have changed their name to “investors” to make it look like they’re not Neftegna). INVESTOR = NEFTEGNA!

#StopAbayTsehaye – During the April/May 2014 #OromoProtests, more than a hundred students and civilians in University towns from West to East Oromia died. In the words of Abay Tsehaye (the face of Tigrean chauvinism and Neftegna in Oromia and elsewhere in the Ethiopian empire), that was not enough. The local police and administration did “little” and failed to kill more students and civilians — that TPLF’s Agazi came from Finfinne to do the killings.
In the words of Abay Tsehaye, the local police and administration failed to “Lik Masgebat” (to kill more of the students and civilians to terrorize them to submission) … that TPLF’s Agazi was inconvenienced into killing the students and civilians.
That’s what the leaked recorded audio of Abay Tsehaye said – he accused the local police and administration of not doing enough to kill more – so the students and civilians were shown terror (“lik masgebat”).

#StopAbayTsehaye – Minishuu (Abdii) Mallasaa & Bilisummaa Lammii were in Adama when the Agazi Force of Abay Tsehaye targeted them to “Lik Masgebat” (“to terrorize into submission”) the Oromo people. A few days after his assassination by Abay Tsehaye’s AGAZI Force, Bilisummaa Lammii was laid to rest by family and friends in Ejere. #StopAbayTsehaye – in a recently released recorded and leaked audio, Abay Tsehaye (the face of Tigrean chauvinism and Neftegna in Oromia) said he would do anything to implement the Addis Ababa Master Plan, which was categorically rejected by the Oromo people, especially by the Oromo students, who campaigned and protested during April-June 2014 in #OromoProtests to stop the Addis Ababa Master Plan. #StopAbayTsehaye – Abay Tsehaye’s Liyu Force (aka TPLF’s Liyu Force in Ogaden) Responsible for the Mayu Muluqqee Massacre and Other Militarized Land-Grabbing Expeditions of the Tigrean Neftegna

In 2007, as a right-hand military security man of Meles Zenawi, Abay Tsehaye was in charge of creating the TPLF “Liyu” (“Special”) Paramilitary Force in Ogaden/Somali Region. The nickname among Ogaden Nationalists for the TPLF “Liyu” Force in Ogaden was (and still is) “Abay Tsehaye’s Liyu Force.”

Abay Tsehaye’s “Liyu” Force was responsible for the Mayu Muluqqee and other massacres and uprooting of Oromos in Eastern Oromia over the last two years. The “Liyu” Force conducted military raids on innocent Oromo farmers in Eastern Oromia to rob them of their land.

Abay Tsehaye’s “Liyu” Force was also behind the Asabot/Miesso attacks in Chercher in Oromia. He’s also the main TPLF agent behind the tribal conflicts in Moyale and other areas on the Southern Oromian and Kenyan border.

In 2010, Abay Tsehaye was then moved to a newly created “Sugar Corporation” as a director (read here about the resume of Abay Tsehaye). Many were surprised by the move of a Military Security Adviser to a Sugar Corporation directorship position. However, the surprising appointment soon became clear. The main goal of this “Sugar Corporation” is to lead military-backed (Neftegna, i.e. backed with rifles) land-grabbing missions in the South (Oromia, Ogadenia, Sidama, Omo, Afar, and other Southern Parts) in the name of “expanding” commercial farmings. Abay Tsehaye has become the face of the Tigrean Neftegna in the Ethiopian Empire – he leads large land-grabbing missions (supported by TPLF’s military) just like the Menelik-II era’s grabbing of land from Southern natives (Oromo, Ogaden, Sidama, etc.)

In addition to the Mayu Muluqqee Massacres, Abay Tsehaye’s militarized land-grabbing expeditions are well documented in Gambella, Omo region, Afar – and even in the Amhara region (he was in charge of the plan to turn the Waldiba Monastery in the Amhara region into a commercial sugar farming).

የኦሮሞ ህዝብ የነፃነት ጥያቄና አምባገነናዊ ጭቆና

የመላው የኦሮሞ ህዝብ ጥያቄ የነጻነት ጥያቄ ነው:: ነጻ አእምሮ የሌለው ነጻ አስተሳሰብ የለውም:: ኢትዮጵያ ውስጥ የኦሮሞ ህዝብ መብት ተከብሮ አያውቅም:: የወያኔ መንግስት ፀረ ህዝብ፤ ፀረ ዲሞክራሲ፤ ፀረ ኦሮሞ ነው ብዬ ብገልጽ የአደባባይ ሃቅ ነው። አምባገነን ገዢዎች ኦሮሞን በነጻነቱ እንዲኖር ከመፍቀድ ይልቅ ለፖለቲካቸው መጠቀሚያ በማድረግ ጭቆናና ግፍ፣ እስራትና ሞት ከእለት ወደ እለት እያደረሱበት ይገኛሉ:: የኦሮሞ ህዝብ ሰለ ነጻነቱ መታገል ከጀመረ ብዙ አመታት ሆኖታል:: ዛሬም በትግል ላይ ነው:: የምንፈልገው ነጻነት እስኪመጣ ድረስ እንታገላለን:: የኦሮሞ ህዝብ ሰራተኛ፣ የተማረ፣ ሰው አክባሪ፣ አገሩን ለማሳደግ የሚደክም ህዝብ ነው:: የአሁኑ የወያኔ የዉስጥ ገዳይ የአገዛዝ ስልት ደግሞ የሰሚ ያለህ ብሎ የሚያስጮህ፣ የሚያስመርር ጉዳይ ነው። በአሁኑ ወቅትም በሃገር ዉስጥ በኦሮሞ ወጣቶች የሚደረግ የነፃነት ትግል እየጠነከረ በሚሄድበት ግዜ ሁሉ ወያኔ መነሻው የኦሮሞ ነፃ አውጪ ግንባር ነው በሚል በተለመደው የሂሳብ ስሌቱ የኦሮሞ ልጆችን እየገደለና እያፈሰ እስር ቤት ከማጎር አልፎ የኦሮሞን ህዝብ የነፃነት ጉዞ ለማዳከም የተለያዩ መርዛማ ዘዴዎችን በመጠቀም የኦሮሞ ህዝብንና የነፃነት ትግልን ለመለያየት ብሎ ለሰው ልጆች የማይገባን የጭካኔ ግፍ እየተገበረ ይገኛል። ኦነግ በኦሮሞ ህዝብ ዘንድ ድርጅት ብቻ ሳይሆን የኦሮሞ ህዝብ የማንነትም መገለጫ ነው:: በኢትዮጵያ የፀረ አሸባሪነት ህግ የወጣው በዋናነት ንፁሃን ህዝቦችን ከሽብር ለመከላከል ሲሆን የፀረ አሸባሪነት ህግ በወያኔ የወጣበት ዋናው ምክንያት ግን ንፁሀን የሆኑትን የኦሮሞ ልጆችንና ሌሎችንም ለማሸበር ታስቦ የወጣ መሆኑ ግልፅ ነው።በሌላ አነጋገር አለም የፀረ አሸባሪነትን ህግ የምትጠቀመው ንፁሃን ህዝቦች እንዳይሸበሩ ለመከላከል ሲሆን ወያኔ ግን ንጹሃን ህዝቦችን እራሱ እያሸበረበት ይገኛል።

በሀገር ውስጥ ከሚያደርሱት በደል በተጨማሪ የእነሱን የግፍ አገዛዝ በመሸሽ ወደ ጎረቤት ሀገራት ሄደው በፖለቲካ ጥገኝነት ተመዝግበው የሚኖሩትን የኦሮሞ ልጆች እንኳ በሰላም እንዳይኖሩ ባሉበት በማሳደድ የፀረ አሸባሪነት ህግን በሽፋን በመጠቀም ከጎረቤት መንግስታት ጋር ስምምነት ፈጥረው እጅ እግር አስረው በመመለስ የእድሜ ልክና የሞት ቅጣት ቀማሽ እንዲሆኑ እየተደረገ መሆኑ የዚህን ህግ አስከፊነትን ያመለክታል። እንደ ምሳሌነት ብናነሳ ተስፋሁን ጨመዳ እና መስፍን አበበ ከኬንያ የተያዙበት ዜዴና በወያኔ እስር ቤት ውስጥ የደረሰባቸው አሰቃቂ ግድያ መላውን የኦሮሞ ህዝብ ያስለቀሰ፣ ለበለጠ ትግል ያነሳሳ ጉዳይ ነው። በአሁኑ ግዜም በዚህ የወያኔ ፀረ ሽብር ህግ ምክንያት በጎረቤት ሀገራት በፖለቲካ ጥገኝነት የሚኖሩ የኦሮሞ ልጆች ተሰሚነት እያጡ በስጋት ውስጥ እየኖሩ መሆኑን በተደጋጋሚ እየሰማን ነው። ስለዚህ የኦሮሞ ህዝብ ጥያቄ እስኪመለስና ኦሮሞ በራሱ ሀገር ላይ የባለቤትነት መበቱን እስኪጎናፀፍ ድረስ ወያኔ ለግዜው እንዲሁ ይለፋል እንጂ የኦሮሞን የነፃነት ትግል ለማዳከምም ሆነ ለማጥፋት መላውን የኦሮሞን ህዝብ ካልጨረሰ በቀር መቼም እንደማይሳካለት ለማሳሰብ እወዳለሁ። አንድ ቀን እሮሞ ነፃ መውጣቱ ስለማይቀር ነፃነቱን ያገኘ ቀን ግን ግፈኞች ላደረሱት በደል ወንጀለኞቹን ከጥቅም አጨብጫቢዎቻቸው ጭምር በፍርድ እንደሚፋረዳቸው አንዳች ጥርጥር የለዉም::
